Curling Isn’t Just About Hair- Anymore…. Charity Event
Helping Raise Scholarship Funds for Young Girls
On March 14, the Jordan Area Women in Business will be doing a fundraiser for its Educational Scholarship Fund. The Jordan Area Women in Business annually gives four $500 scholarships to girls who are planning to go to college and start their own business. In order to facilitate this, the event will be learning to Curl on Ice. Curling will be a fun and unique fundraiser. Utah Olympic Oval will host and the Oval’s curling coaches will be volunteering their time to teach this fun sport. Participants can play, sponsor and donate prizes. Check in is at 11:00am and curling begins at 11:30 am. Lunch from Zupa’s will be provided with ticket purchase.
